As Chief Financial Officer, Kevin Nisson applies a thoughtful, solutions-driven approach that ensures the firm's overall financial health and integrity. He oversees revenue recognition, budgeting and forecasting, and capital and human resources. Additionally, Kevin maintains the firm's banking relationships, tax filing and management, valuation, insurance and legal administration matters, and shareholder management. A strategic business partner to fellow members of leadership, he supports executive decision-making while employing and implementing a process-oriented methodology to streamline workflow, optimize firm tools and talent, and identify areas for change. Kevin rolls up his sleeves daily to deliver on corporate strategy, and the result is KCCT's proven growth under his tenure.

Prior to joining KCCT, Kevin was a finance lead for a global architecture / engineering firm, where he led mentorship efforts to fortify field offices and quantify their initiatives. He has held accounting and financial management roles with other professional service firms and newspaper organizations before he was drawn to the AEC industry for the lasting cultural impact of the built environment.

A thought leader in project performance strategy, Kevin contributes as a subject matter expert to industry publications and presents at conferences on best practices, financial leadership, and market trends. Originally from Wheaton, MD and now a resident of Damascus, MD, he is a local sports aficionado who can be counted upon to attend several Washington Nationals games each season.
