Kristine Finney applies her project management and programming expertise to KCCT's domestic studio, leveraging an extensive background in the delivery of new buildings, tenant improvements, studies, planning, design, and construction administration projects for a wide variety of government clients. Her prior experience as an architect in a full-service architectural / engineering firm, as well as a union cabinet-maker, affords her a unique perspective and the ability to successfully resolve the most complex design and construction challenges. Her project management approach encompasses her understanding of the evolving opportunities for the design of tomorrow's work environments, including the incorporation of specific user operational needs, security concerns, material availability, and sustainability into tailored solutions.
A native of Silicon Valley, Kristine harnessed her early interest in the built environment and its impact on the ways in which people live and work, first through commercial office interior design and construction in the San Francisco area. She transitioned to multi-family housing before ultimately honing her specialization in office and government-owned space design in the Baltimore area. She considers her work to be an opportunity to support the US Government through the delivery of high-quality facilities.
